Carb Final Connections

Please tell/show me how part number 73 and 74 are installed.

Part #73 is the lower anchor for the throttle spring and is bolted to the lower studs of inlet manifold.
Photo from my XJ but same part and location.

Nigel,
The part 73 holes do not align with my inlet manifold, but they do align with the bolts holding the carb to the engine.

I'm now lost on this one as I havn't had the 1 3/4 carbs on mine for over thirty years and I'm only going by a distant memory, my car is as the XJ in the photo with HD8 carbs and fittings. Over to other members to help.
Have a look at part 54 as I think this is the anchor for the upper hook on the spring - same as the XJ.

Found it....have it mocked up. Just waiting for confirmation from others that it bolts to the rear of the front carb.
