Shelley Jack Label

When P1B75802BW was being given a 100 point restoration (See Newsletter Vol. 1, No. 3), the then owner found that the Shelley jack label was ‘very tatty’ and there were no NOS or reproductions available. He contacted the Register and we were able to provide dimensions, drawings and colour photos of the original (and only slightly worn) label on the Shelley jack in P1B79909DN.
He had a small batch of exact replica labels produced. Each label is the original 7/8 in. wide and 1 3/16 in. high. The design, colours and type styles are correct. Placing one beside the original label clearly shows the authenticity.
After the restoration was completed he kindly donated a few of these labels to the Register. We thank him, and will supply them to members for US$5.00 each, including postage worldwide.

fortunately my jack still has the original label, and I applied a thin clear film over it to protect it as best as possible.

The Daimler 420 Sovereign jack that I purchased after buying the car had no label, or any signs of ever having one.
