DONATION BUTTON
I'm happy to tell you that the Forum has been upgraded to the latest PHPBB software version, as has the underlying version of the PHP. Similarly all the "Extensions" (modifying software) we employ were updated as well. This help us be free of Spammers and Hackers, but it's an ongoing battle so upgrades will continue to occur. On this occasion I hired a professional PHP programmer to do the upgrade. I didn't want to risk what happened in 2017 when we attempted to do a major version upgrade and the forum crashed. This time everything went smoothly.
The programmer I hired was very reasonable, but I already pay for the annual hosting of the website and the forum. So while I give my time to this endeavors freely I thought I'd give members an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of the site. Consequently I've added a "Donate" button to the header above so that users can make small cash donations on a purely voluntary basis.
Thanks guys
