My S type
My S type
Hi all.
I was offered the car when I used to park my Frogeye Sprite in the next lock-up garage in 1988. It had been abandoned for about 8 years so I was a little apprehensive in taking this on. In short, we got it started, it’s had a respray and an engine overhaul plus new sills and a couple of panel replacements.
I changed the seats to XJ before it crippled my back and think they fit well.
I’ll try and find a few more photos to add to this.

Re: My S type
Thanks cass; hopefully it is now showing.
Black always shows well, especially in black and white! But recently have been applying Autoglym Aquawax just after washing whilst the car is wet. It is incredibly easy to use and brings up a superb shine.

What ever it is you are doing it is working. I love the black and white photos, they work really well. I also like the sun roof and wish I had one as a factory fit but do not want to fit an aftermarket one.

Re: My S type
Hi Barrie,
I do like the look of the roof mounted aerial, whilst it's non-original, I wish I'd done that to my car before it had its re-spray.

Re: My S type
Thanks for the compliments folks; I think the combination of black with copious amounts of chrome, plus wire wheels, plus Webasto roof, plus roof aerial has made a nice combination
A couple of more photos as found plus some taken at Prescott. Whilst haring round this track, one must remember that the car has to be driven home afterwards....
