BW 35 oil leak

Post by johngosnell »

I know a lot of members have the later BW 35 gearbox on the s type, have anybody had to replace the oil seal that sits just below the start inhibitor switch. I believe the seal is on the manual gear selector cross shaft. My Rover is fitted with the BW 35 and is leaking from there. If anybody has replaced it what is the procedure.

Regards John

Sorry John mine has the BW35 but I had mine professionally rebuilt in 2014 as I know nothing about Auto boxes and have never had to touch it since.
