I use DOT4 the brand does not matter although Glyn will possibly correct me on that.

And for many decades I've been using DOT5 silicone with good results.

Dot 4 brake fluid correct? I have a synthetic Dot 4 we used for the brakes. OK?

Yes fine Joe.
Stay away from some of the exotics as you can suffer elastomer compatibility issues & especially with boosters. Good old Dot 4 is ideal for these cars.
