Miss Kitty - 1965 Jaguar S-Type 3.8 RHD
Re: Miss Kitty - 1965 Jaguar S-Type 3.8 RHD
Yes, my sealed beams are gone. Only one works completely. The other, low beam only. Fogs dead.
Glyn,
Mine is RHD....what does pilot and no pilot mean and which do I want on the Jolly Rodgers site.
Would these work for the fog lights: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lucas-6-Seal ... 0008.m2219
Are these our original headlights: https://jollyrogersmotors.com/nos-lucas ... dlamp.html
As always, thanks for your help,

Joe ~ you must be very careful here. Your car might be RHD but you are driving it on the RHS of the road so you need headlights for a LHD car that dip to the right. (That sealed beam from Rogers you show is for RHD & will dip to the left)DevilDog wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 3:22 pm Rob,

This is the correct H4 for US use. https://jollyrogersmotors.com/store/p/4 ... r-New.html
Some lights for countries like Germany have a pilot light built into the headlight & the sidelights disconnected by law. You want LHD H4's if you go that route with no pilot light.
Those sealed beams on Ebay that you show might fit but are unlikely to have the correct throw for a fog lamp. As Rob points out the FT6 is less than 6" across.
This unit is correct. Just remove the sealed beam & throw away the casing.

Make them confirm that the sealed beam is working before purchase.

Do you have to use a ballast for the Xenon lamps? If so, I hope Jolly Rogers includes them. If not, where do you get the right ones?
Thanks,

No ballasts/ignitors required. These are just Xenon filled bulbs.

Yellow to vacuum supplyDevilDog wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 12:15 am Back to the Brake Servo. Here is mine. Where does the yellow, white, and red circled connections get sorted in the attached photo. Want to get this right. Looks to me like I do not need the banjo or banjo bolt. Sorry for being such a pain in the ass.

White to brake master cylinder
Red to main braking circuit front & rear via connector block with brake pressure switch.
That is a replacement booster for the original & does not need the vacuum banjo bolt.
