They look to me like the chrome 'plugs' that go into the rod hole on the outer end of the visor .....

That is what I thought David.....I need to get to the shop and take some more photos that show the size of these things. From memory, they are as wide as your little finger and about an inch an a half to two inches long. It may take me a few days to get to the shop. Thanks everyone.

Ah! Then they are quite large. Then David is correct. Sunvisors.

IIRC ~ not all cars had them.

Fantastic....thanks so much. More quizzes to come. I think the bag of rubber plugs and grommets are next. I know some are the rear door guards. When I get to the shop, I will get some photos. Thanks to everyone.

I have been very busy restoring this 1967 Cemsco M416 trailer to go with my 1977 M151A2 AMG Jeep. Only the tarp and license plate are left. Trying to preserve military history. Some before and after photos.

Anyone know where I can get two of these:

C22640 or C26213: Sealing pad under cover plate on the fuel sending unit. #15 and #17 in fuel system assembly.

SNG sell the sender unit https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/Englis ... ba3356d5fe but it does not show that it comes with the seal and the seal part number does not come up on a search. You are best contacting SNG direct and if you have an old one taking the dimensions first as they might have a part from say th eMk2 which will fit. I think I have a couple of old ones lying around if you want dimensions.
I rebuilt a couple of my tanks last year and I am sure I bought new seals off of E Bay but I will have to check for you.

The seals without the locking ring are also still on Ebay at

Rob,
I contacted SNG and they do not carry them.

There are two seals for the sending unit. The one under the locking ring is the one, I believe, is listed on your Ebay links. The other seal is under the cover plate, which are the two that I need. The part numbers in the EBay link are not matching the part numbers on the fuel system assembly C22640 and C26213 in the parts manual.

I sent a request to the seller in your ebay links to see if they have the seals that I need.

Thanks so much,
Joe

Just received responses from the EBay sellers. Neither on of them have the cover plate seal. Still looking.

Joe do you have a picture of the old one and dimensions and I will have a look in my box of many parts.

I think from memory this is not so much a fuel seal but a large rubber bung which just protects the electrical connections from getting wet and covered in dirt. I would, if you cannot find an original part just make a couple out of some closed cell foam cut to the right diameter. I might have some old ones lying around!
