New S Type Model

Post by NigelW »

This arrived today, made by Cult Models (1/18 scale) based in Holland. I've had this on preorder since November 2017. I've asked Cult if the can produce this as a kit so we can build up a model in the same colour as our cars but no luck.

That is very nice but you realize you have reduced the value by half just by taking it out of the box!
Shame they do not do it as a kit as it would be great to have one matching your own car. It would look better on wire wheels though. Only my opinion.lol.

I have just looked on the web site for Cult models and the factory has already sold out!
Diecast Legends https://www.diecastlegends.com/road-car ... -1-18.html have them for sale at £160.99!
Ebay has some at £201.75 https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Jaguar-S-Type- ... /812947646

Rob I don't really care about deboxing it as the only ones who will take a hit on the value are my heires when I'm dead and gone as I'm not selling it. Not surprised they've sold out as only 300 produced, get on to Grand Prix models and see if they have any more. Yes shame they didn't make a wire wheel option.

I have all the Jaguar 1:24 models from Franklin and Danbury Mints, they are incredibly detailed. But they never produced a MK-2 or S type in 1:24 either.
