1965 Jaguar S-Type Heater Box Cover

Post by DevilDog »

SNG just informed me that their source for the subject box lost their sample and have cancelled production. They are trying to find a new source. Any suggestions out there......need one.
Thanks,

You can ask Jonathan Skinner if they have a pattern. They are hugely obliging. He has the Hardura felt for the heater box cover.

Also if you have a pattern they will make one for you.

Alternatively, Joe, if you have the heater box to hand, can source some suitable hardura and find someone to stitch it together, I don't think it would be too difficult to design the pattern yourself. There are plenty of pix in this thread: http://www.jagstyperegister.com/forum_n ... 3&start=20

Contacted John Skinner. No, I do not have the pattern. Just do not have the time to make my own. We have 12 French Bulldogs (sorry UK folks) we are carrying for and I have the night shift. Not much time to do anything, but my shop is needing the box and cover. I was hoping to find a quick fix.

Thanks,
Joe

At least not having cover won't hold up work. It can be fitted afterwards.
