yes I see what they are doing.

when I bought mine in 2005, shipping was $60. but the mounting kit was included.

I also used Permatex Exhaust Parts Adhesive because I could not find the "FIREGUM" adhesive that they used at the factory.

A factory trained Jaguar mechanic taught me that Jaguar never welded exhaust parts, so I don't.

Jose.....did you use Permatex on the manifold gasket or something else?

no. at the manifold gaskets, nothing but the gaskets.

also no sealant wherever there is a donut seal.

only at the muffler to pipe unions and then very little since the band clamps seal well.

Opened my kit the other day and two installation parts were missing and according to SNG, no longer available. Was able to solve one of the missing parts by using a different part that will do the same job. However, I need to find this or its equal:

C.23262 Ring Bracket for Rubber Mountings Plate 74, Part 28. Need two of them.

Any suggestions?????

those are the rear hangers for the rear resonators, right? They are a round steel ring into which a round rubber "donut" with a center hole is inserted.

you might be able to use XJ-6 rear hangers, not sure but they are somewhat similar.

here's a drawing of the XJ-6 rear hanger. But if you have the new rubber "donuts", I would try to find two used brackets.

Joe. Here is one. These things were shockingly made & rusted like hell. Just make up your own & paint properly or powdercoat. You will do a better job. Buy this one as a pattern.

Don't let anybody sell you this ~ It's wrong. Plus you need the slotted bolt holes in the original for tail pipe alignment.
