can anybody advise me on how many parts manual there have been over time. The one I have is a paper back version Number J 35 ,I feel that there may be sections missing as I was trying to find the parts with reference to the headlining talked about in an existing post but could not.

Re: parts manuals
John, Not sure how many versions there are but a good source for a parts manual online is https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/uk/o ... hicle-info
This is the Jaguar Heritage trust part catalogue. Very helpful when searching for parts and comparing them against other Jaguars such as the 420 and Mk2.

Re: parts manuals
Thanks Rob ~ A very useful site!
There have been numerous iterations of the Spare Parts Catalogue over the years. I even have a leather bound version I found in the old Foyles Book Shop in London. Some very minor errors like thermostats have been carried over through many generations.
This is the latest condensed version which you seem to have (Approx half size diagrams & print to reduce size). The most recent Brooklands reprint is with the brighter green cover. This has been our daily dirty work copy over my recent completion of restoration & I've found it to be complete.
I'm of a different era ~ LOL! I can't get used to working with an iPad or laptop in the garage. I want a hard copy that I can page through & leave dirty fingerprints on.
