Rubber Mounting - Front Suspension Crossmember
Rubber Mounting - Front Suspension Crossmember
Does anyone have a photo on how this part is mounted to the front suspension and the car body? Here is a photo of the part and where it mounts on the front suspension crossmember (see the annotation of the part).

Re: Rubber Mounting - Front Suspension Crossmember
Joe here is a picture of the sandwich plate mount fixed to my car but as I said before in your previous post if you have not put the rear V mount around the correct way this front sandwich plate mount will not line up correctly. I have also included a picture of the V mount on my car but you cannot see the offset. The offset on the V mount is very slight and puts the front sandwich plate mount out by only a 1/4 of an inch but it means you cannot do up the bolts as the sandwich plate mount does not sit against the chassis leg correctly.

Re: Rubber Mounting - Front Suspension Crossmember
Rob,
Perfect....no need to clean off the paint as the stud goes through the body and then the sandwich mount is bolted. I can clearly see the offset in my second picture and I follow it. Thanks....
Oh, by the way, in your first picture of the sandwich mount, what is the single bolt, washer, and rubber coming through body? I see another one on the other side of the car. Are those the stabilizing links from the engine mounts?

Joe the bolts you can see are the bottom of the radiator support bolts. Nothing to do with the stabilizers as I do not have them.
