Do you show your ‘S’-type?
If your answer is “Yes”, you might be interested in the Jaguar ‘S’-type, 420 and Daimler Sovereign Judges Guide. This book was produced in1996. It was presented as a technical seminar, and approved, for judging, by the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) at their 38th Annual General Meeting that year.
The book is 8½ x 11 inches, spiral bound and 54-pages. The Coventry Foundation has donated five (5) copies to the International Jaguar ‘S’-type Register and they are available on a first-reply (to jagstype@gmail.com) first-receive basis.
The price is a US$5.00 donation to the Register plus actual postage of US$3.82 in the USA, US$5.90 to Canada, US$11.50 to Europe and US$12.50 to Australia.

I show it to anybody who comes by my garage.
One day I hope to get it out of the garage and show it to people elsewhere. I don't think I need a book for S-type standards David - I can just refer directly to your car.

Yes, I show mine regularly on the streets, in parking lots, in the neighborhood, etc. Lots of favorable comments and no nit picking on the minutia of its specifications. They always ask what year is it, I reply it was dispatched from the factory on Thursday November 5, 1964,

Re: Do you show your ‘S’-type?
I asked David to send me one not because I show my car although I do go to local multi make classic car shows just not concours shows but I thought it would be something nice to put in my folder of paperwork which I layout in the boot of the car at shows. Just as a talking point.
I am also just a little intrigued to see what is wrong with my car that the judges would not like. Not going to change anything but it would be interesting.

Re: Do you show your ‘S’-type?
Hi, I would be interested in getting a copy. Unless I can buy it, it would be great if some one has got a copy in pdf format.
Thanks in advance and wish you all the very best for Christmas and the New Year.
