Re: 60th anniversary of the Mk2
Sorry not going to Blenheim.
I have sent an EMail to Peter who is one of the organisers of the JRC Ryton event requesting that all S Types attending the event ie our five and every other S Type that turns up all be parked in the same area together. He has said this should not be a problem so I am looking forward to having several S Types all parked in a row instead of being spread out between the numerous Mk2s that will be there.

Guys
In readiness for the 60th. Would it not be an idea for each of us to know the other forum members cars, by say numbers of the registration ?
For instance my registration numbers are 782.

Re: 60th anniversary of the Mk2
Had this reply back from Peter at JLR.
Hi Rob,
Thanks for letting me know. There are seven S-types so far on my list but there may well be more to come as the JDC are now on-board to help recruit cars. It was always my plan to separate models where possible so keep in touch and we can ensure a deserved display for the model.
All the best,
Peter
The numbers in my registration are 592.

Re: 60th anniversary of the Mk2
Unfortunately my S Type will not be ready to attend, but I do hope everybody has a great time and please post some photo's onto the forum showing all those lovely S types lined up. As a consolation I am off with the caravan that Saturday, wishing I were with you all at the event.

I'm booked in also for the JLR event, and will head for the Texaco site first.

Looking forward to the day!
