With regards to mounting the vacuum unit, does it mount on grommets at the rear three bolts as well?
Just to confuse issues further some servos had 2 studs & some 3.

On my car 3 main studs mount to the cowl via grommets & spacers & the inner wing cylinder clamp mounts via grommets & spacers as well. Parts manual shows grommets & spacers at both locations but shows late booster as 2 stud when most were 3.

The servo nose clamp I am sending Joe does have the rubber grommets which go in to the inner wing but I cannot remember if the three bolts on the back of the servo which bolt to the backing plate have grommets or spacers. I also note someone has welded the heads of the bolt on yours Glyn to the clamp. Not sure if this was original but would recommend anyone doing it as it is a long stretch for one person to have a spanner on both sides of this nut and bolt. Two man job to do it up without it being welded.

Rob ~ most later cars had the bolts welded to the hoop of the clamp. No doubt used to ease assembly at works.

Similar to starter motor bolts.

Yes my starter motor clamp was as your photo with the bolts welded but both on this clamp I am sending to Joe and the one on my car they are not welded. It does make sense to have them welded on as trying to get a spanner on both side by yourself is a nightmare.

Looking great Joe. Good luck fitting the grill. You will need the bottom access port cover off & long slim arms with strong hands.

We fitted mine with no trouble & the radiator in place. My restoration guy had the right build. These grills don't fit the body well unless you are lucky. We worked on the grill surround to get a perfect fit prior to re-chroming. They must protect the studs in the chroming process or they can be eaten away in stripping.

Are you sure it is the bulbs first. Silly question really but it might be an earth. Change the bulbs over to the sides that are working to check them on a circuit you know is working first. You can also hot wire them direct to a 12v battery to see if they work.

The spot lights if it is the bulb you will have a problem with as the Lucas FT6 sealed beam unit is no longer made and finding a 6 inch sealed beam unit to fit is difficult. The Mk2 had the FT5 sealed beam unit in their fog ranger which was smaller. Someone might be producing an alternative to the FT6 but I am not aware of them.

The main beam is a standard Lucas 7 inch unit. Originally a sealed beam and is the same as the Mk2 . You can change the whole unt to either Halogen bulbs which I have or LED and I am sure SNG or David Manners will be able to assist in your choice. As I have changed to Halogen I still have my old original sealed beams in the attic, I also have a small collection of HT6 sealed beams but these are not for sale!

Like Rob I have a pair of NOS FT6's in stock for the future & not for sale. Rover P5B used same foglamp.

There are some on Ebay right now working from 35GBP. There is even NOS complete at an eyewatering GBP200.

Covered here:

I scrapped the hopeless sealed beam headlights & fitted Lucas H4's with Xenon lamps in them.

Jolly Rogers Motors in the US can supply ~ here. Note Rogers allows you to upgrade the bulbs. Make sure you get LHD units as I have linked for correct dipping. He also stocks for RHD markets.
