Bonnet & Boot Lid Insulation

Post by DevilDog »

Has anyone fitted custom insulation for the bonnet and boot lids? Pictures and availability would be great.

You might like to refer to this thread posted previously http://jagstyperegister.com/forum_new/v ... f=22&t=549

I still have the original felt fitted to my S Type but had to use an aftermarket product on my XJ as shown on the thread.

Joe have a look at this link as well. It is about the heater box covering which is made of Hardura but in the linked topic I mention that I used the Hardura to make my under bonnet insulation pads.

Got it.....thanks. I painted my heater box with a rattle can of undercoating. Has texture without all the bulk. It will pass. Thanks for the link. Maybe I will put a mirror under my bonnet. LOL.
