I think this is the link you will need. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/52MM-ALUMINI ... Sw9IpXw8-C
For £128 that is good value as it cost me twice that to have my original radiator recored. It does not say if it is better than the original ie more cores but if you are not after original, just functional it looks like a good buy. Just don't trust their guarantee as they cannot even spell it correctly in the advert. This is a 52mm radiator.
For £165 you can also buy a 56mm radiator. This is the thickness of the core and for that price its the one I would go for. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/56MM-ALUMINU ... SwqBJXV-V8 and they give a correctly spelt one year warranty.
These prices are really good as a second hand original radiator on ebay is selling for £230. Untested. The cheapest original used Mk2 rad is £75.
Neither of the Alloy Rad companies state if they are Manual or Auto so assume they are just for the manual car as the Auto rad is different as it has the gearbox oil cooler in the base.

Only cars fitted with the 35 auto box have the cooler, the DG hasn't got one so will fit them. Personally I wouldn't dream of fitting one of those Chinese items as I've had enough of aftermarket stuff from China that has turned out to be a waste of time and money. If you want a alloy rad go to a company such as Northampton Radiators who make and supply high quality items, not cheap but you get what you pay for.

This is the result of using a cheap alloy radiator, only two months old fitted to a friends classic Ford Transit.
