Front air Vent Knobs
Re: Front air Vent Knobs
Thanks very much for all of the help and advice. It was particularly helpful being directed to find exactly what was needed on Ebay — though the fitting is going to be another matter altogether!
I was also looking for a plastic horn cover for the original steering wheel as mine is cracked. Those on Ebay seem to suffer from the same issue so I was delighted to find that new replacement parts are still available (though listed under Jaguar 420, which is — I thought — an even rarer car).

good that you found the parts new.
it's the same steering wheel all through MK-2, MK-X, S type, 420 and 420G.

Glad we were able to help.
What is the quality like on the replacement horn push C22272? Have you fitted it yet? Are you able to post an image or two? Mine is also cracked.jaguar&mg wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 6:11 pm I was also looking for a plastic horn cover for the original steering wheel as mine is cracked. Orlando. For what it's worth I found the quality of the horn push to be very good. Somebody else might have a better close up.

I picked one up at Stoneleigh a couple of years ago brand new but not sure if it was NOS or a reproduction but it was not cracked as mine was and there was no difference in the quality.

Yes, that looks fine, doesn't it? Is that the SNGB one?
Thanks for the confirmation, too, Rob.
