What a fantastic looking car, it's a credit to your dedication. I now know why the S Type appeals to me looking at that side elevation sums it up really for a saloon car shape. I would think your car will gain first place in many car shows once finished, it has to be the one to beat. It will be interesting to know the total cost for producing such a car, which appears far better than when it rolled off the production line in 1965.
I take my hat off to you.

That's coming along really quickly, Joe. And looking lovely. What are those big chunky brackets at the front? For the rotisserie?

A tip from personal experience: clean the engine bay of dust before the ancillaries go on. It's such a nightmare afterwards!

Thanks everyone for the great comments.....yes, that was the rotisserie brackets. Exhaust, brake and fuel lines, transmission electrical, and final torque of the front wishbone and radius arms. Then, it will be on to the engine bay.

Exhaust in. Just need the rear brackets and we can tighten everything up.

Looking great, Joe. But you will need those rear silencers out of the way to put the fuel tanks in. You should be able to squeeze the tanks in with the rear pipes loose like that, but might be easier to just slide the pipes out and put them back afterwards.

Joe,
take the time now, before runnning the engine, to remove all those stickers on the muffler parts, otherwise they will burn with the heat and leave ugly black stains on all the exhaust parts. You can use paint thinner to melt them and remove them.

ALSO, though I can't tell because of the angle, I think the two long pipes after the first little "balancer" muffler are reversed. The 2 Mufflers (the ones under the rear seat area), should go on laterally "straight", not angled as they are in the picture.

Great Joe ~ making fine progress. Orlando is right, leave the 2 rear pipes loose for tank insertion etc. You probably have anyway waiting for the rear hanger brackets & final alignment with the skirt cutouts. Love your shiny aluminium work. You can see my engine & transmission were rebuilt over 20 years back although we have done some cleaning since these pics.

I left my stickers on but if a bit of burn-on worries you Acetone will take any black marks straight off.

Centre silencers/pipes are correct:
