Re: brake servo assistance
Many thanks for your answer. I'll follow your advice and buy a new one. Looks like another adventure. Oh well, it's a hobby ;) Hopefully it's going to be a bit easier than fitting the new startermotor.... Found this in the mean time: https://kb.welshent.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/lr18230.pdf I s...

brake servo assistance
Hello everyone, I need some help. After replacing my starter motor, I now have another problem. My brake light didn't get out. After fifteen years without any problems, it seems the gods have left me... So I was looking for a leak in my brake system. (S-type 3.8 left hand drive) I had some white smo...

Re: 3.4S (manual) Starter Motor
thanks for the reply. Yes, I've read the thread (otherwise I would never have been able to remove the old startermotor ;) ) but I was not sure about the starter gear. As the old one comes out a lot longer. But I suppose it is pushed from the inside. (by the way it took me two days to get the old one...

Re: 3.4S (manual) Starter Motor
Hello everyone, I need some help. My starter motor failed. I managed to get it out (not easy) I have a S-type 3.8 The starter motor says Lucas 2552 D M418G. I can see it was used for mk2's. It looks like this https://www.scparts.co.uk/en/lucas-starter-motor/202521 My question is, can it be replaced ...

Re: Boot Box
when looking at my boot, I realised I did not have the same space as yours. The former owner produced a shelve for the speakers. So the hight of my box had to be less. I produced the following (out of an old radio cabinet) on the right side I place my stuff (oil, lamp,...) and left I placed a toolbo...

Re: Boot Box
Wow, that's the spirit.
I didn't want to force you, but now I'm looking forward to it.
I'll get my sawing machine ready for the weekend

Re: Boot Box
Looks cool. I think the hight in the back might be double the one of the foldable boxes. So if you want to transport a battery or something, it will be a no go. Offcourse we can't force you, still I think I will wait until you have the time to take it out. Worth waiting for. (and for now, thanks for...

Re: Boot Box
This is something I was looking for. Thanks Rob. (I'm always transporting half of my spare parts when going on a trip) It would be nice to get the measurements. I was looking for something like this on the pictures below I think the free place between the hinges is about 80 to 82 cm, so you'll need ...
