Coolaire also did a kit for the MG1100 and Austin America, maybe the MGB as well?

Comes with a 24 month Warranty but I would imagine that is just out of date now.

There is still a company called Koolair in Florida. I wonder if it the same people?

Missing the compressor should not be a big issue as this kit would have likely used the old York type and most now fit newer and more efficient and lighter Sanden type and I believe there is a mounting kit to use these on newer installations. They are also likely R134 compatible.

It is likely this aftermarket kit.

Rear deck "KoolAire" A/C unit

by Damagecontrol87 » Mon May 20, 2024 12:27 pm

Will be carefully removing a rear deck mounted KoolAire A/C unit. Seems to be an add-on unit. Anyone have any interest? Will include as many parts as applicable. Unknown condition beside the blower fan operating, as it is missing the compressor pump. "Northern" Maine, USA. Willing to horse-trade. Pics to follow.
