Welcome to the register. As you are in Nova Scotia you might like to make contact with the British Automobile Touring Association of Nova Scotia https://www.batans.ca/ if you haven't done so already. They have a lot of experience with our type of cars and source of spares not to mention great tours of NS and beyond.

For unusual replacement parts like that in the USA, I usually turn to Jaguar Heaven in Stockton California who operate a large Jaguar recycling yard. There is also Welsh Jaguar in Ohio who I believe also sell used parts. Google them for details. Good luck in your restoration project.

Hi all,
I'm an ex-pat Brit, 26 years in Nova Scotia. I have experience in restoring a Triumph TR6 but none with Jaguars.
I very recently bought a project car, a 1966 3.8 S-type 4 speed with O/D needing a complete restoration. Then interior is in rough shape, the engine reportedly runs but that is about all I know. The car looks complete except for the rear RH passenger door vent window, I'm wondering if it will be a big problem locating a replacement? I recon a six year project at my snail pace work lol.
Cheers
Steve
