I have had my Rover for almost 10 years and These cars are totally under rated. One of the first things that make them unusual is that every body panel is removable they have independent suspension all round and 4 corner disk brakes. They were also built with safety in mind with many safety items built in. The steering wheel can be adjusted up and down and in and out.
When I bought my P6 she had a bad oil leak which garages thought was from the rear crank oil seal but was in fact a leak from the cylinder head, because of the engine position it gave this impression. The body was not in bad nick but I am a firm believer that rust cant be repaired and so the route I took was to replace any panels that showed any sign of rust bubbles, so after the re spray I had 19 body panels all over the garage. I had the interior all restored so all the seats , door cards, carpets were replaced. So along with the jag I am very proud of her.
